The Beginning

            I decided to write this blog in honor of my mom Agnes Jean Pye. She was diagnosis with cancer in December of 2009. We should have known something was wrong way before then because every time she went to the doctor she would tell me she was loosing weight. Like 7lbs a month.

            My mom worked as a homemaker and one of the clients she worked for always offered her something to eat. Now I must tell you my mom never turned down food but for some reason she did and this happened more then once. So her client told my mom to go see a doctor about what was going on.

            I was with her when we got the results back and the news that she had prostate cancer. He also said that she had a (Gist) as well. I was kind of floored but mom remained calm. We went home and gave the news to my younger brother. His name is Clarence and he’s in his 30’s and he wasn’t happy with the news but he wasn’t to upset either.

           

            I think I should tell you that my mom and I both have Neurofirbomatosis. (NF1) the doctor thinks that’s what formed the cancer.  My mom passed way on March 20^th 2011. She is in a better place now. This blog will be mostly about good times when I was little up until the time she when home to be with the Heavenly Farther. You will laugh you will cry but most of all you will also smile.
